This is how Luke Bryan rolls.
Amid the search for Katy Perry's American Idol replacement, the "Love You, Miss You, Mean It" singer is going with the flow.
"We're waiting to hear who the show is going to pick," Luke exclusively told E! News at CMA Fest 2024's Spotify House, held at Ole Red in Nashville. "I know that Pink, her name was thrown around, Miley Cyrus."
Meghan Trainor also recently expressed interest in taking Katy's seat the judges' table alongside Luke and Lionel Richie.
"The whole thing about that role is you gotta have personality and you gotta have fun with it every day," Luke said. "And I think Meghan has fun with her career, she's kind of like me. She doesn't take herself too serious, she has fun with her music. So, yeah, that'd be great."
Regardless of who lands the coveted Idol role, Luke is ready to welcome the new team member with open arms.
"I'll support her or whoever all the people at ABC decide to go with," he added. "And it'll be exciting to see who they decide to fill Katy's seat."
The "Roar" singer officially said goodbye to Idol in May during the season 22 finale of the competition series.
Amid her departure, she also weighed in on who would join the judges' table, noting that while she loves Jelly Roll, she'd like to have a woman replace her.
"That would be too many men," she told E! News of having Jelly Roll join judges Luke and Lionel, "let's be honest."
In the end, Katy explained, her replacement needs to be someone who is "honest and bold, not scared of negative comments."
As she put it: "When you have an opinion, when you're bold, when you're a female, it just happens."
As we wait and see who lands the Idol job, catch up with more stars at CMA Fest's Spotify House.
